Building Success is the first set of flexible learning materials developed to support the recently approved national standards for team leaders. Now team leaders will be able to develop the knowledge and skills identified as being the key to success in this critical role.
Building Success consists of nine units, each designed to support the appropriate Unit in the national standard for team leaders. This covers the full range of team leader responsibilities, from organising a team’s work to communicating effectively in person and in writing.
Building Success is designed to be a truly flexible resource for use by company training centres, external training providers and colleges. Individual units are divided into between 12 and 20 short sessions, each of which should take no more than about half an hour to complete.
The units are supplied on separate CD-ROMs as sets of Adobe Acrobat files (one for each session, plus additional support materials). The complete unit or just individual sessions can be printed off on demand (in black and white or in colour), so that a learning programme can be constructed to suit the team leaders particular needs.
